Hello, my name is Anita, welcome to my site. I believe it can often be hard to express how we feel and find space to talk in our busy world today. We all need some time to process and make real human connections. I offer a safe, empathetic space where you will be valued as an individual. I will work with you to help you understand yourself and reach the goals you have set. It can be hard to make the first step and decide to find a counsellor. I can work on a one to one basis with adults and young people looking at a range of issues including anxiety, stress, self-confidence, relationships and other life problems.

As a member of the BACP, I consider myself a professional with strong ethical values around how I work and relate to others. I’m an integrative counsellor so this means I work with whatever you bring to the sessions. My approach is warm, empathic and present. How you feel is important to you will be valued and appreciated. I believe that you are able to reach your goals with support, whatever they may be.
