Therapeutic Counselling Hayes Bromley

How I work

I am a warm and approachable counsellor. I think it’s important that we build up a working relationship of trust and confidence.

I work in an integrative way. I see you as a unique individual and am led by you and your goals. What you bring is important and I’m interested in your story and how you feel about it. Whatever is important to you is important to me.

I use elements of person-centred, psychodynamic and narrative therapy as well many other modalities.

I work with the following life concerns:

Specialist areas of interest

ADHD & neurodiversity

Do you have concerns around diagnosis for yourself or your child? Would you like support after diagnosis? I can work with the feelings around loss, regret, shame. I can help to manage symptoms with a programme of positive thinking. I have an understanding of emotional dysregulation and rejection sensitivity.

Young males

Life for young men is particularly difficult today. Are you struggling with finding a purpose, a relationship or job. I am interested in the challenges you face and I can empathise with how you feel. There is a way out and we can talk together and work out some steps to reach your goals.

Depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm

Have you felt low and not known how to manage your feelings? Do you feel like you need to feel fully understood in your darkest times? I will try my best to listen and be empathetic to your concerns.
